Using the LabelVision help system in Windows 8
LabelVision has been optimized to use the classic Windows help system, which uses the file WinHlp32.exe. To use classic help in Windows 8 with LabelVision version 4.6 or later, you no longer need to download a patch from Microsoft. To use classic help with earlier versions of LabelVision, you have to download a patch from Microsoft.

Windows 8 has two versions: 32-bit and 64-bit. To find out which version your computer is running, from the bottom left corner of your Start screen right-click your mouse to bring up a menu. Select the System option. Look at System Type, which is under the System section.

You will have the opportunity to download one of two files:
Windows8-RT-KB917607-x86.msu, or Windows8-RT-KB917607-x64.msu.

If you are running the regular 32-bit version of Windows 8, then download the file Windows8-RT-KB917607-x86.msu.

If you are running the 64-bit version of Windows 8, then download the file Windows8-RT-KB917607-x64.msu.
